MUNICH: The final episode of The Successor, starring mentalist Uri Geller, on the Dutch station SBS 6 averaged a 25.9-percent market share in the highly coveted 20-to-49 demographic.

On Friday, De Nieuwe Uri Geller, as the show is called in Dutch, was able to attract a growing number of viewers throughout the evening and peaked at a market share of 44.8 percent.

The show won the night on Dutch television last Friday, outperforming such tough competition as The X-Factor on RTL 4 and Hollywood feature film Borat on RTL 5.

The Successor is produced by Kuperman Productions & Uri Geller and sold around the world by SevenOne International, the programming distribution arm of ProSiebenSat.1.

“We are thrilled about the show’s success on SBS 6,” said Jens Richter, the managing director of SevenOne International. "De Nieuwe Uri Geller clearly struck a nerve with the Dutch audience. From the very first minute, it attracted more and more viewers and finished off as the number one program on Dutch television last Friday."

The Successor has aired in several countries, including the U.S., Canada, Turkey, Hungary and throughout Latin America.

And the winner is... kinetic Yelle (12) here with Patty, her dad Ghani and Tooske
